COSTRUITA IN FRANCIA - Quelle che vi mostriamo sono le foto di un esemplare ancora pesantemente camuffato della prossima generazione della Peugeot 308: a pubblicarle è stato il sito ceco AutoForum. La nuova berlina francese a cinque porte francese è attesa per l'anno prossimo e, stando alle indiscrezioni, potebbe chiamarsi 301: di sicuro sarà sempre prodotta in Francia, negli impianti storici di Mulhouse e Socheaux
UN'EVOLUZIONE - La sostituta della Peugeot 308, codice di progetto T91, sarà costruita sulla stessa ossatura delle nuove Citroën C4 e DS4 e, rispetto alla 308, dovrebbe avere un passo leggermente più corto ma carreggiate allargate. Dalle “cugine” Citroën, inoltre, dovrebbe ereditare anche i motori, ai quali si dovrebbe aggiungere anche il nuovissimo 1.2 a tre cilindri VTi appena presentato sulla 208. Saranno tutti abbinati al sistema Start&Stop, mentre sul fronte delle trasmissioni si potrà scegliere tra il cambio manuale o il robotizzato: la trazione sarà sulle ruote anteriori.
NUOVO LOOK - Nonostante la pesante copertura non permetta di osservare le forme della carrozzeria, l'erede della Peugeot 308 avrà una linea decisamente più filante dell'attuale. Il frontale sarà simile a quello della 208: in accordo al nuovo corso stilistico della casa francese, abbandonerà la vistosa “bocca” a favore di una mascherina più discreta e fari più sottili. Inediti saranno anche gli interni, con una plancia dal disegno più originale: i materiali e le finiture si annunciano più curati per reggere il confronto con i modelli tedeschi.
NIENTE 3 PORTE E CC - Stando sempre alle indiscrezioni, l'erede della Peugeot 308 non sarà proposta nella variante a 3 porte, che non ha avuto particolare successo. Sembrano invece confermate la variante station wagon e quella berlina a quattro porte, una tipologia di carrozzeria molto apprezzata nei mercati asiatici, dove la Peugeot punta ad espandere le vendite. Non sarebbe invece prevista una versione coupé-cabriolet: si dice che la 308 CC sarà sostituita da una versione “aperta” della coupé RCZ.

I am from Autoforum.cz and we captured these shots last weekend so it is not anything old. We are not sure what it is, but it is too tall to be 308 successor/301. All visible parts belong to 4008, so it must be something based on 4008/ASX.
Those French guys were very aggressive when they saw us taking these shots, they even want to insult us physically. So it cant be just a normal 4008, it now can be seen in France without any camouflage.
After discussion with our French colleagues, we think it is some more stylish version of 4008. The question is if the body will remain the same (there can be some coupe-like parts as on X6 added) or it will just carry more powerful engine (around 200 HP) and decent changes on its body.
See the additional chrome parts on front bumper that cant be seen on already presented 4008. This is what lead us to the thoughts mentioned above.
We will see, but I am quite sure it is not new 308 or 208 SUV, it is something based on 4008.
